Terms for using PoseSix.

Effective and last updated 24 July 2026.

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms of Use govern your access to the PoseSix website, PoseSix on iPhone, PoseSix on Windows, software downloads, and related support material. PoseSix is the name used for the software and support service described in these Terms.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using PoseSix, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use PoseSix.

The Privacy Policy explains how PoseSix handles information and forms part of these Terms where applicable.

2. What PoseSix does

PoseSix uses an iPhone app and a Windows app to bring your head movement into compatible games. The iPhone follows your movement and sends it to the PC you paired.

You need both apps, an iPhone with Face ID, a suitable Windows PC, a network that connects them, and a game that supports head tracking. Results can vary with your devices, network, game, updates, and settings.

3. Licence

Subject to these Terms and any applicable store terms, PoseSix grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the apps on devices you own or control.

You may not, except where applicable law expressly permits:

  • copy, modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works from PoseSix;
  • reverse engineer PoseSix or try to find or recreate its source code;
  • rent, lease, sell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit PoseSix;
  • remove copyright, trademark, licence, or attribution notices;
  • bypass security, pairing, compatibility, or access controls; or
  • use PoseSix to violate law or another person’s rights.

4. Apple terms

PoseSix on iPhone is also subject to Apple’s App Store rules, Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement, unless a custom end-user licence agreement is presented through the App Store.

Apple provides the App Store and iOS platform services. PoseSix is responsible for the iPhone app, subject to the allocation of responsibility in Apple’s applicable terms.

5. Windows and third-party components

The Windows app can include software from Microsoft and other third parties, including open-source software. Their licence terms and notices are available in the Windows app and accompanying files. Those terms apply to the relevant software.

References to operating systems, games, products, services, and trademarks do not imply sponsorship or endorsement by their owners.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • using PoseSix only for lawful purposes;
  • keeping your devices, network, and pairing code secure;
  • using a trusted network and pairing again if someone else may have seen the code;
  • positioning and using your devices safely;
  • checking movement, recentering, and game settings before play;
  • reviewing support reports before sharing them; and
  • maintaining backups of settings or files that matter to you.

Do not use PoseSix where inaccurate, delayed, interrupted, or unexpected tracking could create a safety risk. PoseSix is intended for game input and is not a safety, medical, navigation, accessibility, or emergency system.

7. Pairing, networks, and security

PoseSix connects your iPhone and PC over the network they share. The movement sent between them is not encrypted. Network conditions, firewalls, VPNs, wireless interference, other software, or device power settings can interrupt or delay tracking.

You accept the risks of using PoseSix on your network and are responsible for the security and configuration of that network.

8. Games and compatibility

Game compatibility can change without notice when a game, operating system, or security product is updated. A compatibility statement means a setup has been tested or is expected to work; it does not guarantee that every version or setup will work.

Game publishers and platform providers control their own software and services. PoseSix is not responsible for their availability, behaviour, policies, updates, anti-cheat decisions, or support.

9. Downloads, purchases, and refunds

Any price, licence duration, included features, and payment terms will be shown before purchase or download. App Store transactions are processed by Apple under Apple’s terms. Windows distribution or payment providers may process Windows downloads and purchases under their own terms.

Refunds are handled by the seller or platform through which the purchase was made, subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory cancellation, refund, warranty, or other consumer rights.

10. Ownership

PoseSix, its website, software, design, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by or licensed to the PoseSix developer and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only the limited rights expressly stated above.

You retain ownership of information and files you create, including saved game settings and support reports. Sending material to support gives us permission to use it only as reasonably necessary to provide support, investigate the issue, secure PoseSix, and improve the product.

11. Updates and availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, compatibility, downloads, or support. We may release updates needed for security, compatibility, or correct operation. Older versions may stop working or may need an update before the two apps can connect.

We do not promise that PoseSix, any download, or any particular game integration will always be available.

12. No professional or safety advice

PoseSix and its documentation provide general product information only. They do not provide legal, medical, safety, accessibility, or other professional advice. You are responsible for deciding whether your setup and use are appropriate.

13. Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PoseSix is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, tracking accuracy, speed, compatibility, availability, security, or fitness for a particular purpose.

This section does not exclude warranties or remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.

14. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit or opportunity, loss or corruption of data, game or account action, device or network problems, or failures caused by third-party software and services.

You remain entitled to any mandatory remedies available under the law that applies to you.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using PoseSix at any time and uninstall the apps. We may suspend downloads, support, or access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, misuse prevention, or discontinuation.

The licence ends if you materially breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and applicable law, will continue to apply.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to PoseSix, distribution, law, or business requirements. The current version and effective date will remain available at this URL. Where a change materially affects existing users, we will provide notice where reasonably required.

17. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the PoseSix publisher is established, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or access to courts available under the law of their country of residence.
